A touch of India

India is any photographer's dream. You're greeted with a million photo opportunities around every corner. These are some of the images I captured on my visit to this vibrant country.
Unfortunately I was only equipped with a Canon 20D and a 18 - 75mm lens. I would love to go back with a 5D MKII and a 70 - 200mm, 50mm prime and a 16-35mm lens, Any takers?

Eland's Bay : A surf mission

This is a collection of photos I took on a surf trip to Eland's Bay with 2 of my friends during the South African winter swell season. They got some great waves and the rugged landscapes and unspoiled nature provided me with some great photo opportunities. All the photos were taken with a Canon G11 camera.

aerial perspective : atlantic seaboard, cape town

Recently on a fresh morning I had the opportunity to go on a helicopter flip over Cape Town to do some filming. I took my Canon G11 along to get some still shots. It was a perfect day with no clouds, a few early sun rays and no wind except for the helicopter's blades. I live in Cape Town and I've seen all the sights a hundred times but the aerial view just made me appreciate everything a bit more. From the sky you can see Cape Town come to life: the trains creeping out of the station, the worm of cars on the N2, the mountain shaking of the morning dew and the ocean shimmering to the touch of the frisky sun. That was enough poetry for a couple of days (thank you Jay-Z)!

Mouille Point, Cape Town. From dusk till dawn

The following photos has been taken in the Mouille Point area in Cape Town. Mouille Point is a small strip of apartment buildings situated along the Atlantic Seaboard. Apart from the stunning views the area has recently become even more exclusive with the addition of the Green Point football stadium and an upgraded gold course. I love living here.

The Promenade, Cape Town.

Since i got my Canon G11 digital compact camera I've been itching for a nice day to go outside so I can get some shots. My wish came true.
As the sun started to sink into the sea the colours of the sky transformed into something more spectacular every second. I managed to capture the moment...
