Hi my name is Bernard. I'm an interaction designer and web, mobile & social media addict.

I grew up in Paarl and Stellenbosch where I spent as much time in the mountains and rivers than I did at school. Life forced me to  move o Johannesburg to experience the big city. I made a lot of friends, had great times and studied two degrees before realizing how much in miss the good old Western Cape. I'm currently a happy citizen of the Mother City and I love working here.

Some other cities that I really fancy include New York, Boston, California, Barcelona, Edinburgh, London, Paris and Monte Carlo. If I had to choose another career I would have loved to be an F1 driver with a little house in Monte Carlo - nothing fancy, just a nice 6 bedroom place overlooking the Med would do, and I'll definitely need a chef for those days when I can't braai.

When I'm not behind my MacBook i'm either on my Sector 9 skateboard cruising the streets, behind the lens of my camera, listening to music, playing tennis or watching sport with my friends.

I have a posterous blog where I post anything from hospital bills to videos of dancing hamsters. I have another blog where I post photos, mostly taken on my mobile phone.I have a twitter account where I actively share thoughts within the 140 character limit (I hate twitlonger), and on top of it all i started a braai group on facebook dedicated to the love of braai.
